In support of all who parent

MAEVE SLO County North is the San Luis Obispo County chapter of MAEVE, a non-profit organization that seeks to empower all who mother in support of one another and their communities.

MAEVE SLO County North is dedicated to supporting all parents and caregivers in the area no matter where you are in your journey. Any person who participates in the act of “mothering” or caretaking regardless of familial role, gender identity, or sexual orientation is welcome. Here you will find a village, dedicated to helping each other and the community.

Our values.

Motherhood.

MAEVE was founded by mothers for mothers, and our chapter extends that support to all who parent. Caregiving is our one commonality and why you’re here. MAEVE believes every journey in parenthood is unique and valuable; we look forward to being a part of your journey.

Village.

Building local friendship and support, one member at a time. Your chapter is your home away from home. A village to support you in all this parenting journey has to offer.

Alliance.

We are allied with our members and their communities. We stand for and take tangible action to be anti-racist and support BIPOC and LGBTQ communities.

Equity.

Creating a system of access and support for all members and their families. We believe there should never be a barrier to entry to MAEVE and providing quality resources to every member.

Empowerment.

MAEVE is here to support you, to inspire you, and to empower you to become a member or leader with the tools to create impactful change in our community.

MAEVE.

Building villages, strengthening communities, one member at a time.

I am. You are. We are MAEVE.

Who we are.

MAEVE SLO County North is comprised of over 160 members located in Paso Robles, Atascadero, Templeton, and the surrounding communities. Our chapter encompasses the 93446, 93422, and 93465 zip codes. We also embrace affiliate members from surrounding areas such as San Miguel, Santa Margarita, and Heritage Ranch.

What we do.

We are your village. We are your friends. We are here to inspire and empower you. Our chapter provides support to its members and our local community through playgroups, moms-only events, community service, charitable giving… and so much more.

“If you take a little piece of this whole picture: my piece, our piece, this is what I can do locally...I can make a difference. And they're making a difference over there, and so are they, and so are they. And so gradually, the pieces get filled in and the world is a better place because of you.”
