Upcoming Events.

Let’s talk shop! All current and potential members are encouraged to attend our all-member chapter meeting at the beginning of every month. This event is open to the general public as well.

Monthly Chapter Meeting.

ECHO’s mission since 2001 is to empower people in SLO County to make positive change by providing food, shelter, and supportive services.

Meal provider teams are responsible for preparing meals for up to 100 dinner guests who visit the nightly community dinner program. We ask that meal providers deliver a filling meal consisting of a main dish, a vegetable side, a carb/grain side, and a dessert. Meal providers are welcome to stay and serve their food, but are not required to. All meals are prepared off site, and we ask that meal provider teams deliver the food between 4:00pm - 4:30 PM.

ECHO Service Initiative.

*We're back to serving in person and kids are now welcome to help us in the kitchen!

Ongoing Fundraisers

Our current book club read is the first book in the Sweet Magnolias series: Stealing Home by Sherryl Woods.

Have you read it yet? Borrow a copy from the library or listen to it on audiobooks and join us in October to discuss “this sweet, sometimes funny and often touching story.”
